Rob Vervoort joins REHVA Student Competition in London with ‘Lungs of the City’

Great news! In early April, Rob Vervoort, a student at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), will give a presentation about ‘Lungs of the City Eindhoven’ in London, as part of the REHVA Student Competition 2017. This annual international competition for research projects in the field of ventilation and heating, encourages students to contribute to a sustainable future for the planet.

REHVA Student Competition 2017

The first part of this competition takes place on a national level and is organized by TVVL in the Netherlands. The finals of this Dutch Nominee Competition took place on February the 23rd. Rob won the Dutch Nominee Competition with his contribution to the study ‘Reduction of outdoor particulate matter concentrations by local removal in semi-enclosed parking garages: A preliminary case study for Eindhoven city center’. He will represent the Netherlands at the REHVA Student Competition in London (2-4 April 2017), where he will again give a presentation about ‘Lungs of the City’.
