Rob Vervoort wins REHVA Student Competition 2017

Fantastic news! Yesterday afternoon we received news from London that Rob Vervoort won the REHVA Student Competition 2017 with his presentation about ‘Lungs of the City Eindhoven‘.

Last February, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) student Rob Vervoort participated in the Dutch Nominee Competition held in Rotterdam. This first selection for the REHVA Student Competition 2017 was organized at national level by TVVL in the Netherlands. Rob won the Dutch Nominee Competition with his contribution to the study ‘Reduction of outdoor particulate matter concentrations by local removal in semi-enclosed parking garages: A preliminary case study for Eindhoven city center’. As a result, he travelled to London to represent the Netherlands during the REHVA Student Competition 2017, where yesterday he was declared winner of the finale.

Rob, congratulations with this great achievement!
